2017 marks the 45th Anniversary of the establishment of the first Barbara Allen Photography studio. Set up in Poole following a five year apprenticeship with Hartleys, a long established Poole business, and training with Kodak and work experience at IPC magazines in London. With an artistic background, the studio rapidly became the go to place with an innovative, award-winning reputation and a regular clientele including several celebrities of the day.
